About
Zakimi Castle Site is a hilltop gusuku in central Okinawa, renowned for its graceful curved stone walls and finely constructed stone archways. Believed to have been built in the 15th century, it is one of the finest surviving examples of Ryukyuan castle architecture. Its elevated location also offers broad views of the surrounding landscape.
