Tamaudun
About
Tamaudun is a royal mausoleum built in 1501 for the kings and members of the Second Shō Dynasty of the Ryukyu Kingdom. The impressive stone tomb is divided into eastern, central, and western chambers and reflects the distinctive funerary traditions of the Ryukyuan royal family. Located near Shuri Castle, it is an important monument to the history and culture of the Ryukyu Kingdom.
