Yêu cầu thị thực
Các loại thị thực cần thiết và điều kiện
Thị thực điện tử (eVisa): eVisa available for most nationalities for tourism, business, and medical visits.
Thời gian lưu trú tối đa: Up to 30, 90, or 365 days depending on eVisa type
Cách xin: Apply online at indianvisaonline.gov.in. Fee USD 10-100 by nationality.
⚠ Apply at least 4 days before travel. Not available at land borders. Multiple entry types available.

Thời hạn hiệu lực: Passport must be valid for at least 6 months from date of entry.
Trang trống: At least 2 blank pages required for entry stamps.
⚠ Passport must have at least 2 blank pages. Damaged passports may be rejected.

⚠ Print eVisa confirmation. Digital version may not be accepted at all ports.

Ngưỡng khai báo: Must declare if carrying over USD 5,000 in cash or USD 10,000 in total (cash + instruments).
Cách khai báo: Fill customs declaration form.
⚠ Indian residents: INR currency cannot exceed INR 25,000.

⚠ Limits apply to passengers 18+ only.

Hàng cấm nhập: Illegal drugs, weapons, explosives, counterfeit goods, obscene materials, endangered species products (CITES).
⚠ Drug penalties vary by country but are universally severe for trafficking.

Quy tắc mang thuốc kê đơn và thuốc không kê đơn
Quy tắc chung: Carry prescription medications in original packaging with a doctor's letter in English stating the medication name, dosage, and medical necessity.
Khuyến nghị: Keep medications in carry-on luggage. Carry a copy of prescriptions. Bring only the amount needed for your trip.

Bắt buộc: Yellow Fever certificate required if arriving from or transiting through a yellow fever endemic area.
Khuyến nghị: Hepatitis A & B, Typhoid, Tetanus. Malaria prophylaxis for tropical/rural areas.
⚠ Check WHO yellow fever endemic country list. Transit of 12+ hours may trigger requirement.
Quy trình kiểm tra nhập cảnh

• Print your eVisa confirmation — some ports do not accept digital versions.
• Have hotel address and local contact ready.
• Allow extra time at immigration (30-60+ min at Delhi/Mumbai).
