Passport Conditions
Required validity period and blank pages
Your passport must usually be valid for at least six months from your date of arrival and have blank pages. Airlines and immigration enforce this strictly. Make sure the details on your VOA/e-VOA match your passport exactly. Confirm the current requirement for your nationality before you travel.

Required Documents & Pre-registration
Arrival cards, health declarations, and other preparations
Carry your passport, your VOA/e-VOA, a return or onward ticket, and proof of accommodation and funds. All arrivals must submit the electronic All Indonesia arrival declaration (free) before arrival, and the customs e-declaration. For Bali, the tourist levy is a separate compulsory payment. Have printouts or app confirmations ready.

Pre-arrival procedure — All Indonesia: since 1 Sep 2025 a single digital platform combines the arrival card, customs declaration (e-CD) and health declaration; mandatory for all travellers. Complete it within about 3 days before arrival on the official site allindonesia.imigrasi.go.id or the All Indonesia app; you get a QR code. If your nationality needs a visa, use e-VOA at molina.imigrasi.go.id. Beware paid look-alike sites.

How to submit
- 1 Open allindonesia.imigrasi.go.id or the All Indonesia app and register/sign in.
- 2 Enter passport and personal information.
- 3 Enter travel details and your address in Indonesia.
- 4 Complete the customs (e-CD) and health declaration parts.
- 5 Review all entries, submit and save the QR code; show it on arrival.

Cash Import Limits
Declaration-free limits and procedures for excess amounts
You must declare cash if you bring in or take out the equivalent of about IDR 100 million or more (roughly a few thousand US dollars). Carrying large amounts of physical rupiah also has limits. Illegal drugs carry extremely severe penalties, including the death penalty for trafficking — never carry anything for anyone. Also restricted or banned: weapons, pornography, and certain wildlife or cultural items. Pre-packaged food and plant/animal products may need declaring.
