Passport Conditions

How to submit
- 1 Open imigresen-online.imi.gov.my/mdac and choose Registration.
- 2 Enter passport and personal details.
- 3 Enter travel details — flight number, arrival/departure dates and address in Malaysia.
- 4 Review all entries, correct any errors and submit.
- 5 Save/screenshot the confirmation; it is linked to your passport electronically (a printout is handy at the counter).

Cash Import Limits
Declaration-free limits and procedures for excess amounts
You must declare if you bring in or take out cash and negotiable instruments above the equivalent of about US$10,000. There are also limits on carrying Malaysian ringgit for non-residents.
