Steps to follow when buying tax-free
- Shop at stores with yellow "VAT Refund for Tourists" sign
- Present passport and fill in the VAT Refund Form (PP10)
- Get the form stamped by the store
Airport Refund Process
Customs procedure at departure
- Before check-in: show luxury goods (jewels, watches over THB 10,000) to customs
- Get customs stamp on PP10 form
- After immigration: submit forms at VAT Refund Office
