Pre-arrival procedure — South Africa ETA / eVisa: the Department of Home Affairs runs an online Electronic Travel Authorization and eVisa. The ETA went live in 2026 and coverage is expanding to more nationalities; visa-exempt travellers may use a voluntary ETA for a processing fee (reported around ZAR 500).
