Today, I’d like to introduce Conrad Bangkok in Thailand.
Conrad Bangkok is a luxury hotel under the Hilton group. While Bangkok is home to countless high-end properties, this is one of my go-to hotels that I return to time and again.
What I personally love about it is the perfect balance between its convenient location—great for both sightseeing and relaxing—and its top-notch facilities. It’s ideal not just as a base for exploring the city, but also as a destination in itself where you can simply enjoy the hotel stay.

Conrad Bangkok is situated inside All Seasons Place, a multi-purpose complex along Wireless Road in central Bangkok.
The hotel’s official guide mentions it is within 1 km of the BTS station, and a free shuttle operates between the hotel and Phloen Chit Station.
Free Shuttle from BTS Phloen Chit Station Makes Getting Around Easy
If you’re taking the BTS to Conrad Bangkok, the nearest station is Phloen Chit.
While you can walk from the station to the hotel, I personally recommend using the free hotel shuttle. When I stayed there, it ran roughly every 15 minutes.
Once you hop off at Phloen Chit Station, head out to the bus stop right in front of SIAM PHARMACY—that’s where the shuttle picks up. If it's your first time, you might wonder which direction the hotel is in, but it’s really close to the station, so once you know the spot, it’s a breeze.
You can walk, but in Bangkok’s heat, taking the shuttle with your luggage is far more comfortable. It’s especially helpful during check-in and check-out when you have big bags.
Note that shuttle schedules and pick-up locations are subject to change, so it’s best to check with the hotel staff for the latest updates when you visit.
Great Surroundings for Sightseeing and Walks
One of the charming things about Conrad Bangkok is that there’s plenty to explore right around the hotel.
Nearby is Lumphini Park, one of Bangkok’s most famous green spaces. Being able to take a short stroll to such a lush, peaceful area—despite being right in the heart of a skyscraper district—is a unique perk of this location. The hotel lists Lumphini Park as a local experience spot just a 10-minute walk away.
In addition, ONE BANGKOK, a trendy landmark, is close by, offering plenty of shopping and dining options.
Spending some quiet time at the hotel, then stepping out for a casual walk nearby—with a rhythm like that, you could easily spend a day or two enjoying just this neighborhood.
This area is also known for its embassy concentration, including the Japanese and US embassies. While you hopefully won’t need to visit an embassy on vacation, having them nearby provides an extra layer of peace of mind in case anything comes up.
Room Rates at Conrad Bangkok
Rates vary significantly depending on the dates, booking period, and room type.
When I stayed, entry-level rooms were around 5,000 to 6,000 THB per night. Plans including Executive Lounge access were around 7,000 to 8,000 THB.
Keep in mind these figures are just based on my personal experience and don't guarantee current pricing. Hotel rates in Bangkok fluctuate heavily by season, so be sure to check live rates once your dates are set.
A Relaxing Executive Lounge
One of my personal highlights at Conrad Bangkok is the Executive Lounge.
It isn't huge, but it has that signature Conrad elegance, complemented by attentive service from the staff. It’s a wonderful spot to enjoy food and drinks in a calm atmosphere, making it ideal if you want to unwind at the hotel.
Trip to Bangkok often turn into packed itineraries from morning to night, but taking time to kick back in a lounge like this is, to me, one of the real joys of travel.
My Top Recommendation: The Pool
My absolute favorite feature at Conrad Bangkok is the pool.
Even though it’s right in central Bangkok, the pool area is surprisingly spacious. It has a unique, gourd-like shape—while I didn't measure it exactly, it feels like under 50 meters on the long side and about 10 meters across the narrow part.
Despite being surrounded by high-rises, sitting poolside feels unexpectedly relaxing. You might see families with kids swimming, but during my visits, the crowd consisted mostly of adults.
I love spending hours poolside reading, watching YouTube, and ordering drinks and light bites. Deciding to skip sightseeing for a day just to lounge by the pool for hours is a fantastic luxury on a trip abroad.
Since it’s outdoors, mosquitoes can occasionally fly around, so bringing insect repellent is a good idea if you plan to hang out for long periods.
Dining and Drinks by the Pool
Near the pool sits "City Terrace," a restaurant located on the 7th floor. According to the hotel, it offers a tropical vibe with outdoor seating surrounded by greenery and water.
After a swim, you can order food and drinks right to your lounger. This kind of setup—where you can enjoy everything without stepping foot outside the hotel—is precisely why I love Conrad Bangkok.
Tennis Courts, Restaurants, and More
Besides the pool, the property features tennis courts, pickleball courts, multiple dining venues, and a fitness center.
It’s perfectly set up for a complete staycation. For instance, you could:
Wake up late and enjoy a leisurely breakfast
Spend the afternoon by the pool
Take an evening stroll around the neighborhood
Have dinner at the hotel or a nearby restaurant
If you want your hotel stay to be a central part of your travel experience rather than just a place to sleep after sightseeing, this hotel is a perfect fit.
Rooms and Amenities
Photos give the best impression of the rooms, but rest assured, all the expected amenities and comforts are fully provided.
What stuck out to me was the use of BYREDO’s "MOJAVE GHOST" for the bath amenities. I fell in love with the scent so much that I bought the perfume version after returning home! Falling in love with a hotel amenity to the point of buying the actual fragrance shows just how memorable it was. (Though note that the bath products are formulated specifically for hotel use, so you can't buy the exact same shampoo off the shelf).
Suites with Terraces
In addition to standard rooms, Conrad Bangkok offers suite options.
When I checked, high-floor suites with private terraces were occasionally listed for around 12,000 THB. Prices fluctuate based on dates and availability, but the fact that you can sometimes snag a luxury suite at an approachable price in Bangkok is a great perk. If you want to treat yourself to a bit of luxury during your trip, it's definitely worth looking into.
Who is Conrad Bangkok Best For?
Having stayed here multiple times, I think Conrad Bangkok is ideal for travelers who want to balance city sightseeing with dedicated hotel relaxation.
It’s a great option if you are looking to:
- Stay in a convenient central Bangkok location
- Explore Bangkok using the BTS
- Have access to a free hotel shuttle
- Enjoy a great hotel pool
- Unwind and take things slow at the hotel
- Access an Executive Lounge
- Experience a luxury hotel stay
- Visit nearby spots like Lumphini Park or ONE BANGKOK
- Enjoy some downtime alongside sightseeing
On the other hand, if you want to step right out of the lobby directly into a bustling nightlife street, hotels around Asok or Sukhumvit might fit better. Still, with the free shuttle to BTS Phloen Chit Station and easy access to key areas in Bangkok, it serves as an excellent base for sightseeing as well.

Whether relaxing in the Executive Lounge, enjoying drinks by the pool, or lounging in your room watching YouTube, taking a day to just "do nothing" is something I highly recommend.
Traveling abroad often makes us want to pack our schedules, but looking back, those hours spent peacefully reading by the pool often become some of the best memories.
