Exit control: Manual booths or automated gates (for ePassport holders).
Automated gates: Available for all ePassport holders (Japanese and foreign). No pre-registration required.
Documents needed: Passport (ePassport for automated gate) and boarding pass.
⚠ If using automated gate, no exit stamp is given unless you request one at the nearby counter.
Departure Tax & Airport Fees
Taxes and fees charged upon departure
Departure tax: International Tourist Tax + Passenger Service Facility Charge included in ticket.
Amount: JPY 1,000 (tourist tax) + JPY 2,000-3,000 (PSFC varies by airport)
Payment: Included in ticket price.
⚠ Sayonara Tax (JPY 1,000) applied since 2019.

Airport Lounges
Eligibility and how to access lounges
