A signature baked pastry of Bolivia, in which meat or chicken, potato, olives and boiled egg are wrapped in dough along with a sweet-and-savoury broth and baked. The crust is slightly sweet and the filling holds plenty of runny juice, so eating it without spilling is the local way. Enjoyed mostly as a mid-morning snack, it is sold steaming at shopfronts on street corners, a classic taste of the morning.
